Sometimes we work for customers with much larger shops than ours. Often they send us their own process sheets with the drawings so we know how they do them. But, we look at these parts with a fresh eye and frequently reduce run times – in at least one case by half.

Watch out for shops that say “We’ve been making these things like this for 10 years!” They’ve just
described 10 years of missed opportunities for process improvement!

We work with materials ranging from brass and aluminum to high nickel alloys such as Inconel, as well as titanium and proprietary cobalt based alloys for gas turbine hot section parts.

Because we understand the characteristics of these materials we can develop machining processes that allow us to MAKE THE PART BETTER AND FASTER, saving both time and money. In one instance, we developed a turning process that eliminated the need to outsource the part for grinding. We benefited – as did our customer.
